Modified Neck Length Tools

Modified neck length cutting tools, often referred to as long-neck or reduced-neck end mills, are specialized tools designed with an extended shank diameter that is smaller than the cutting diameter. This modification allows the tool to reach deep into confined, narrow, or hard-to-access areas—such as deep cavities, pockets, and ribs—that standard-length tools cannot reach, while reducing interference with the work piece.
